We set up Loren's pool yesterday, so today we invited Ellie (with Chan and Carter) and Emilee and Kylee (with Michelle) over to play in the pool. The kids had SO much fun in the pool! I hope we're able to do this a lot this summer!

Katie's House

Today we went to Katie's house (mommy's cousin) to play with Christine and her kids, MacKenzie and Sean (Christine is Katie's other cousin). The six kids played well together and it was fun to have some adult conversation!

Loren's last day of Hodge Podge class

Today was Loren's last day of her park district class called Hodge Podge. We have been taking this class since Loren turned 2 in October, so it is sad the class is ending. We have made some good friends in this class like Ellie (and her mommy Chan) and Emilee (and her mommy Michelle) and Logan (and his mommy Angela) and Luke (and his mommy Carolina). We'll miss seeing our friends at class every Monday and Wednesday morning, but hope our friendships will continue to grow!

Trip to Indinapolis

Mother's Day weekend we made the journey to Indianapolis to visit my sister, Amy and her husband, Chris. We left friday at noon and it took us a good 5 hours to get down there, but that included 2 stops to feed Kaylynn. Amy and Chris had a bbq on saturday with some of their friends and their kids. We went to a park in sunday while Joe and Chris golfed. Kaylynn slept really well in Indy, and Loren slept fairly well! It was a fun visit and we were sad to leave. Kaylynn's 4 month stats

Kaylynn had her 4 month check-up today! She's growing VERY quickly! She weighs 14lbs 7oz (75th percentile) and is 25.5in long (97th percentile)! She's a tall girl!! Not really sure where that comes from! She also started rolling over last week from her back to her tummy! She really likes to be on her tummy!! She also enjoys hanging out in her exersaucer!

Last weekend Joe and I went to Lake Geneva for Joe's company's employee appreciation party and the girls stayed at Booma and Boompa's house (it was Kaylynn's first night away)! They both did really well and enjoyed themselves!! Joe and I had a nice night away hanging out with some of Joe's co-workers! When we went to pick up the girls, Loren had a new toy...a barbie Jeep! She LOVES driving it!! Once I get the pictures on the computer, I'll add them to the blog!
