Happy Easter!!!

This year for Easter, we painted our Eggs on Good Friday (like we usually d0). Loren had a blast coloring her eggs and Kaylynn tried to drink the coloring! Oops! Then on Saturday Mommy had to run to the store because we didn't have any carrots for the eater bunny!! (Because Daddy ate them all)!! Easter morning, the girls had LOTS of fun finding eggs and their baskets that the Easter bunny hid!! Kaylynn found hers first!! She got 101 Dalmatians, a little baby, an outfit and a magna-doodle along with some snacks. She carried around all her goodies for hours and would NOT let them go!! Then Loren found her basket under the dining room table!! She got a leapfrog leapster game and 2 games to go with it, a golf set and some snacks!


After a couple hours of playing with our new toys, we went to church and then went to my parents house for a brunch with my mom's side of the family. It was nice, there were about 30 people there!!! Then we went to Joe's parents house for dessert with his family!! It was a very nice Easter!!

Crystal Lake Egg Hunt

Saturday we went to the Crystal Lake egg hunt again! This year wasn't quite as cold as last year, but still cold! This year our neighbor, Addy, joined us and the girls got to see the Easter Bunny too! Loren thought that was VERY neat and couldn't stop talking about it!! Kaylynn got "into" getting eggs too and managed to get 5 of them!! Loren got TONS of eggs (next year we'll need a bigger basket)!!

Egg Hunt at Olympic Pool

Once again the girls and I went to the egg hunt at Olympic pool with Booma. This is something Loren LOVES to do!! She was so excited all day that she could barely eat anything and was starting to make herself sick from excitement!! Finally the time arrived when we were off to the pool!! She could barely sit still!! When it was her group's turn to find eggs, she was in the pool so fast!! She got lots of eggs this year and even won a bigger prize!! Afterward we could all go in the pool and play!! Kaylynn really enjoyed the pool, especially going down the little slide! I didn't get too many pictures because the kids were all over the place, but here are a few:

"You Don't Have Too Many Shoes"

On Sunday 3/2/08 my parents came over to see the girls and take Joe out for dinner for his birthday. We went to Red Robbin and the girls ate very well and got their balloons (AFTER dinner, which worked out much better)!! Then we came home and Loren had lots of fun playing duck-duck-goose and singing to Booma!!
