Eryn's Baptism

Sunday 11/22/09 we had Eryn baptized at St. James church in Arlington Heights! The service was nice and the Deacon did a very nice job! Melissa and Chris did a great job as Godparents!! Eryn wore the "family" dress that my grandma Harmon made and all the girls on my mom's side wore! The dress is 55 years old and still in good condition! Afterwards we went back to Booma and Boompa's house for a lovely reception! Booma made a beef tenderloin and got chicken tenders and ravioli and made her famous mashed potatoes! Grandma brought a bunch of appetizers and a yummy salad!! But our wonderful family and friends who came to celebrate with us made it a very special day!

Here are pictures from Eryn's big day:

Loren & Kaylynn's Birthay Party

On Saturday 11/22/09 we had Loren's 5th and Kaylynn's 3rd birthday party at My Secret Garden in Algonquin! It's a beautiful old home that's decorated like a Victorian home and upstairs they have a TON of dress up dresses and crowns and every imaginable accessory for the kids to play with! They also do the kids' make-up and nails and they then have a little tea party with snacks, then have cupcakes before opening presents! They did a fabulous job with the party and the kids all had a blast!!!

Here are a few pictures from the party:

Eryn 1 Month Old

I can't believe it's been a month already since Eryn was born!! It's been a very busy month for all of us! Eryn spends a lot of time in her car seat, which, luckily, she doesn't seem to mind yet! She comes with to take Loren and Kaylynn to and from preschool and to gymnastics classes and dance classes as well as story time at the library! She's a busy little girl already!! Eryn started smiling at us when she was around 3 weeks old! She seems to have a little dimple on her right cheek, which is very cute!! She loves to eat, she would eat 24/7 if I let her!! She also LOVES her sisters! It seems like she's always looking for them! She started sleeping in her crib on Sunday 11/15/09 and she'll sleep for 3 hours then eat for an hour, then sleep for 2 hours, then eat for an hour, then sometimes will go back to sleep for another 45 minutes, but mostly at that point she just wants to be held and loved. So far she's been a very good baby!!

Halloween 2009

Halloween 2009 was another fun holiday for the Attanaseo Family!! On Tuesday 10/27/09 we baked and decorated Halloween cookies!! On Wednesday 10/28/09 Kaylynn got to wear her costume to her dance class and they had a little Halloween party! Then on Friday 10/30/09 the girls carved their pumpkins! We decided not to get one for Eryn this year, but next year she'll definitely be carving with the big girls!! Loren and Kaylynn enjoyed carving their pumpkins! Kaylynn was so funny, she dug right in and was pulling out the "pumpkin guts" and seeds! We even dared her to eat some of the pumpkin insides and she did! She said it was icky!

On Halloween we spend the early afternoon with Courtney and her friend Lindsay. Then the girls got their costumes on (they even got to wear make up) and we went trick or treating with our neighbor Addy. The girls enjoyed getting candy!! After trick or treating we went next door to the Herrmann's house for some yummy chili and hot dogs/hamburgers! Afterwards, Joe's parents came over and we had some pizza and cookies!! It was a busy day!
