Easter 2007

We had a very busy Easter weekend! Friday Loren colored the eggs (Kaylynn wasn't really "into" it!)! But Loren really enjoyed it! Then Saturday morning we went out into the freezing cold with Loren's friend Ellie and her parents (Chan and Dave) to the Crystal Lake egg hunt! Luckily our neighbor watched Kaylynn so she didn't have to go out in the cold! Loren found about 12 eggs and really got into the whole egg hunting thing! She especially liked to open them and see what was inside (candy)!! Saturday night, Mommy and Daddy went bowling (with Kaylynn) while Grandma and Grandpa watched Loren. They put out carrots for the Easter bunny and everything!! Loren was very excited Sunday morning when she saw the bunny had come! She was especially interested in how the bunny ate the carrots!! It's interesting to see how a 2 year old's mind works! Then she saw her basket and the tricycle that the bunny brought her!! She was very excited!! She, again, enjoyed looking for the eggs at the house!! After finding all the eggs and a quick breakfast (of mostly candy) we were off to church. Then we went to the "Attanaseo" family Easter at Joe's parent's house for a couple hours before going to Skokie to celebrate with my side. It was a busy day, but nice to see lots of family!
