THE WIGGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Saturday August 9, Loren and I went to see THE WIGGLES with our friends and neighbors, Joy and Addy (and Joy's boyfriend, Will). Who was more excited, Loren or me?!? Who knows! :) The girls had flowers that they gave to Dorothy and bones that they gave to Wags the Dog (sorry to those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about), but they thought that was really cool!! Loren and Addy had lots of fun eating cotton candy and singing and dancing to the songs!! The Wiggles put on a great show!!!

Here are some pictures:

Loren's funny comment....

Yesterday (8/7/08) Loren was sitting and playing. Kaylynn came up to her and put her finger in Loren's nose. To which Loren said "HEY!! Kaylynn picked my nose! I wanted to do that!!!!"

Kaylynn's Asthma

Wednesday (8/6/08) afternoon Kaylynn started to have labored breathing again, similar to what she had a month ago when she had pneumonia. Our pediatrician office closes at noon on wednesdays, so Joe and I decided to wait until the morning to bring her in. I called first thing thursday morning and brought Kaylynn in to see the doctor. He listened to her lungs and said she was wheezing pretty bad and wanted to do a breathing treatment right away. So we did that and Kaylynn cooperated nicely, but she didn't respond to it and was still wheezing. So he then decided that she probably has asthma. So he wanted to do 2 more breathing treatments and give her an oral steroid. So we did a second treatment which Kaylynn got angry with after a minute, then did the steroid and then did the third treatment, which Kaylynn wanted NOTHING to do with!!! She screamed and kicked and hit! She HATED it! I felt bad for her! But she survived!

So we are now the proud owners of a nebulizer, which we are to use every 4 hours around the clock with albuterol and once a day we use pulmicort in the nebulizer and twice a day (for 4 days) she has a steroid and then once a day she takes singulair. This kid is a walking medicine cabinet!!

We go back to see the doctor again tomorrow for a recheck, so we'll get more information then as to how long these treatments need to happen and answers to some questions we have, which will be good!!
